Washer Technology & Functional Applications

Engineered solutions for tension indication, load distribution, and severe vibration environments.

Standard Flat

Minimises scouring or scratch damage to mating material. Distributes the load of a threaded fastener over a larger area to prevent deformation of bearing surfaces.

TENSION INDICATING

Squirter (DTI)

Direct tension indicating washers feature protruding lugs. When tightened, these lugs deform and squeeze out highly visible silicone, giving immediate visual proof of tension.

Belleville (Conical)

A frusto-conical shaped spring. As tightening continues and the washer is flattened, it actually reduces the applied load to counteract the loosening of the joint.

Split-Lock Spring

Hardened spring steel split with out-of-plane deformations. When tightened, protruding corner edges bite into both compressing surfaces to resist vibration.
